Community Yoga and Meditation Classes.

WEEKLY SCHEDULE

We offer a robust schedule of yoga, movement, and meditation classes to help you relax, whether after a day on the slopes or a hike in the mountains—we’ve got you covered. We welcome Inn Guests and members of the community alike to all the classes listed below.

Our yoga shala is lined with fragrant Maine pine and overlooks the forest and river beyond. The shala is climate controlled in all seasons. We provide all the mats, blocks, straps, bolsters, blankets, meditation cushions, towels, and eye pillows for our guests.

Our skilled, compassionate teachers offer the following daily classes—you can find descriptions of these practices in the notes below.

All classes are offered by donation only. Donations can be made at class in cash or Venmo only (no credit cards, unfortunately. Pay what you can or pay it forward for someone who can’t.

Thursday

  • 60 Minutes

Soothe your body and mind with a low-to-the-ground practice involving breathwork and a gentle focus on mobility training. This restorative class introduces mellow postures and movement exercises to explore and expand your range of motion while keeping your body in a state of relaxation.

Just as restorative yoga is often seen as the calm balancing force of more energetic yoga practices, mobility training is the often overlooked counter practice to strength training. Improving your joint mobility and range of motion will make all yoga feel more accessible.

Friday

  • 60 Minutes

Join us for a great alternative to the office happy hour: a happier hour! A restful class based on Yin principles of low to the earth poses all while building flexibility and mobility.

Designed to iron out the kinks in your body after a long week of work.

Saturday

  • 60 Minutes

Our yogis are proud to introduce a 36-pose fixed series of asana postures called the Santosha Series. Like other fixed-series practices (Ashtanga, Bikram, etc.), we follow the same series of physical poses every morning. We provide all students with a copy of the poses and teach them one by one—you don’t need any prior experience to learn them. Beginners welcome.

Unlike other fixed-series traditions, we designed the Santosha Series to be accessible for and respectful to all bodies, ages, and levels of experience and ability—our principal objective is to enable independent, empowered home practice in our students. Join us for class, then head home with a series you can practice whenever you need it. We promise you will leave feeling alive with the study of yoga.

  • 60 minutes

Our vigorous flow should make you sweat (not too much, just the right amount!). This class is an energetic practice with nerdy deep dives into strength and conditioning work, we’ll bring your heart rate up and reward you with a lovely savasana at the end.

If you’re someone who’s curious about styles like Vinyasa yoga or power flow, this practice is a great for you.

  • A moment of slowdown: join us for a relaxing, restful series of physical postures intended to calm the nervous system and rejuvenate the mind. This class includes a long savasana to leave you feeling rested and restored.

If you’re someone who gravitates toward Yin Yoga or Yoga Nidra, we know you’ll enjoy this class.
