INNKEEPER

We are seeking a year-round innkeeper to join our staff!

Responsibilities

  • Managing team of 8 housekeepers and kitchen staff, including assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and coordinating operations with the owners

  • Light cooking and bartending, depending on how busy we are

  • Maintaining the schedule for all staff members

  • Checking in guests and being the first friendly face they meet when they arrive!

Requirements

  • Prior experience in housekeeping, food service, and managing teams: priority given for prior innkeepers

  • Minimum one-year contract

  • Enthusiasm; self-motivation; hard-working; ability to take and implement constructive critique and to voice needs calmly and directly; and a genuine desire to serve guests, understanding that service is much more than hosting guests, but that it means caring deeply for them and their needs

  • Vaccinated against COVID-19, clean background check, nonsmoker

  • Experience living in rural spaces with dispersed community

  • Priority for registered yoga teachers, or folks with experience in yoga and meditation during retreat experience
